The company is developing a project niche based on high quality neighborhood locations. The Stratford Companies' project specialty is entry fee CCRCs that leverage off stable and strong 'brand' neighborhoods, which have recognition within a larger community.
Targeted Markets
The Stratford Companies' current development strategy is the Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions including Cincinnati, Columbus, Indiana, Chicago, St. Louis, Denver and Kansas City
Market Selection Criteria
The Stratford Companies standard methodology for site location is based on calculating the number of age/income qualified households in a given market and using that number to calculate a facility capture rate. The Stratford Companies considers people age 75 and above with an income of $50,000+ as age and income qualified.
