Blake’s responsibilities as Corporate Finance Officer and Analyst include oversight of feasibility analysis, capital management, payroll, accounting, budgets, credit, payables, insurance, tax, and financial reporting. He also gathers and interprets financial data in order to assist in corporate financial planning and sits on the Investment Committee.

Blake is an experienced financial and market analyst with expertise in pro forma development and project feasibility studies. At IBC Holdings, LLC, he analyzed new development deals for a private real estate development company focused on undervalued industrial and commercial properties resulting in $80 million of ground-up construction. He has conducted market research for FMI, the nation’s largest provider of management consulting and investment banking services, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital placement to the construction industry worldwide. As a private consultant, he was retained by the Colorado University Real Estate Foundation, Leeds School of Business, City of Boulder and Westbrook Development Partners, Inc.

Prior to joining the corporate sector, Blake served a six-year term of service as an Armor Officer and Airborne Ranger in the U.S. Army. He served in a variety of leadership positions and was responsible for as many as 323 troops, their families, and $35 million of equipment without loss or incident.

With a B.S. in Management from The United States Military Academy and an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurial Real Estate Development from the University of Colorado, Blake brings a disciplined approach to real estate development, finance and investment analysis as well as corporate finance, site analysis and growth management. Blake is a Colorado University Real Estate Fellow, Colorado University Real Estate Council Member, a member of the Urban Land Institute, and a Gerald D. Hines Student Urban Design Competition winner (2005).
